Xposed is a popular framework that allows you to modify and customize your Android device without having to flash a new rom. It allows you to use a variety of apps and tools (such as gravity box) that extend what you can achieve with your Android device. If you’re tinkerer or someone who thrives on complete control, than Xposed it what you want. For more techinical details on Xposed read this. In order to use Xposed, you will need to have a rooted Android device. You will also need to be on the dalvik runtime (if you won’t know what that is, then don’t worry. You’re probably already on it). Here’s how to install Xposed framework:
What You Will Need:
- Xposed Installer
- A rooted Android Device
Step 1: Downloading the Installer
Download and install the Xposed Installer Apk (listed above) to your Android device.
Step 2: Installing the Framework
After you installed the Installer app, launch the app on your device. Tap on framework, then tap on Install/Update. This will install the Xposed framework. You will need to reboot .
Step 3: Downloading Modules
Now to download a module, tap on download. From here, you can access a whole gallery of different themes, mods, and simple hacks. Not all of them will be compatible for your device, so make sure you read the description closely. Once you find one that you like, select it, and hit download
Step 4: Activating Modules
After you download a module, you will need to activate it. Tap on modules, and select the module you want to activate. You will need to perform a reboot in order for it to take effect. And that’s it! Definitely play around with it, and try out different mods for your device.
