The 90s called, and they want their operating system back. Windows 95 was unique for its time. However, what once took cutting edge hardware to run can now easily operate on a typical Android device. Yes Virginia, you can run Windows 95 on Android.
What You Will Need:
- Windows 95 Image File
- Limbo PC Emulator
Step 1: Download Stuff
If you have your own bootable image file that you would like to use, feel free to do so. Theoretically, this should work with every Windows operating system up to XP. If not, use the Windows image above. Transfer it to your Android device. Also, download the Limbo PC emulator app. It uses the qemu library (libsdl) but provides more flexibility when handling emulating.
Step 2: Setup Limbo PC Emulator
Launch Limbo PC emulator on your device. Create a new VM, and call it whatever you like. Change the CPU Model to qemu32 and set the ram size to 120 MB. Finally, go to Hard Disk A and select your image file. The hit start. If all goes well, Windows 95
